We are looking for an ULTRASOUND ENGINEER.

Missions and activity

You will have to design and develop ultrasound imaging modes to be implemented on the ultrasound system. You will be also in charge of defining new modes of imaging based on SuperSonic Imagine unique technology.

You will be directly responsible for the quality and performances of those imaging modes.

These tasks include the development of new algorithms for the acquisition, the processing, and the display of the ultrasonic signals. Your tasks also include the optimization of ultrasounds transducers for different clinical applications. You will be in interface with hardware, software, mechanics and ultrasounds engineers. You will also work with human factors, marketing, clinical marketing to define and implement the modes according to customer needs.

Your principal missions will be:

- Design ultrasound imaging modes.
- Develop and implement algorithms of signal processing and image processing.
- Optimize imaging modes in a clinical environment.
- Participate in the clinical evaluations (internal and external) of new technologies.
- Participation at conferences, review of publications and visit of sites to stay at the top of the new developments and of the research in ultrasound field and communication to the ultrasound group.
- Responsible for the implementation of aspects qualities linked to your responsibility.
- Marketing support on the technical aspects.

Work location Aix en Provence, France
Know-how Training, education: Engineer School, Master’s degree of Sciences and/or PhD in Physics, electrical engineering or equivalent.
You have a confirmed experience of at least 3 years in design and optimization in ultrasound imaging. You also have to demonstrate a perfect knowledge in programming languages (C++, C, MatLab, etc).
Excellent skills in oral and written English.
